Expungements

In July of 2013, Indiana passed a new Expungement Law entitled the “Second Chance Act”.  This law was designed to give people who have made mistakes in the past an opportunity for a fresh start and help put their past offenses behind them.

Expungement seals your criminal record of arrests, charges as well as misdemeanor and felony convictions.  Expunged records will not show up on background checks run by most agencies.  This can provide significant benefits when searching for employment, housing, applying for higher education, and getting federal assistance.

In most cases, we can even restore your 2nd Amendment Gun Rights to own and possess firearms and ammunition.

Howes & Howes has been perfecting the Expungement Process since 2013 and will fight to ensure that evidence of prior cases are not only sealed by the various agencies that store such information, but will also diligently work to remove news articles and mugshots from the internet when possible.

If you have questions about the expungement process, or if you qualify, please contact Howes & Howes for a free consultation.
